For over twelve years, Jan Verbrugghe has been specializing in supporting clients with groundbreaking CRM solutions at Salesforce. Since 2022, he has held the position of Senior Director Solution Engineering, leading a team of 37 solution engineers and managers. In this role, he also contributes to the expansion of Service Cloud in Northern Europe.

Solution Engineering with a strong focus on Service Cloud has been a common thread throughout Jan's career at Salesforce since 2011. He is passionate about everything that happens in Customer Service and Customer Experience at large. Jan believes in the value of design thinking and service design as tools to put the customer at the center and create amazing experiences.

After several years as an individual contributor - Product Expert and Solution Strategist - his focus shifted to a leadership position in Solution Engineering, primarily targeting the Northern European market. Earlier in his career, he worked for companies such as KPNQwest, Eunet, HP Enterprise Security Services, Trainline and Verint(Trinicom) where he has been involved in many roles from Technical Support Agent, Business Analyst and Product Owner, to consultant and Operations Manager.

Jan Verbrugghe holds a Bachelor's degree in Modern History from the KU Leuven. He gained experience as a contact center agent and embraced continuous learning. As a result, he is recognised as an expert in Contact Center Management by The House of Contact Centers, and a practitioner in KCS (Knowledge Centered Support). Moreover, he knows how to practice design thinking and he completed the University of California Santa Barbara's Customer Experience Program.

In his personal life, Jan is a volunteer for Mobile School. As a passionate scuba diver and because he is keen on protecting our marine life, he also supports Manta Trust.
